| Full Name: Wilhelmina Antonia Theodora Packard (née Talbot) Age: 80 Skills: Sharpshooting, explosives, first aid. Occupation: Mayor of Babylon. Personality: Mayor Packard is a very tired, stoic woman who feels that if she doesn't do the job (or at least oversee it), it won't be done right. She can be a hard person to deal with sometimes, especially when it comes to making sure Babylon and the fledgling settlements it supplies stay functional. This isn't to say she doesn't care, however; she cares very much what happens to her people. She carries her grief close and quietly. She ultimately believes that humanity will survive, but not without hard work and blood along the way. She won't hesitate to put down a threat if she feels it can't be bargained with, and she will destroy it utterly if she can. History: Packard is first generation shelter-born, the youngest (and unplanned) child of a pre-war soldier who had been assigned as head of security. She was slated for the same occupation within the shelter, and trained accordingly. When she was thirty, she was chosen for some of the first expeditions out of the shelter and on the first one outside. The mission was unsuccessful in finding viable sites for settlement or scavenge, and ran afoul of mutates who had become feral. Of fifteen scouts, only Wilhelmina and one other returned. Wilhelmina, despite this, continued to lead expeditions for the next fifty years, eventually finding what would become Babylon nearly ten years ago. Due to her expertise in survival and security, she was appointed mayor by her fellow settlers, which was later approved by shelter officials. She has worked tirelessly to establish Babylon as a trading hub, maintaining communication with other similar outposts and fending off raider attacks. Extra: Packard has domesticated of the few mutated horses that settlers have managed to catch, named Commander. She also has a collection of pre-war books in good condition and repairs scavenged tech in her spare time. | |
